HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DENGAN STATUS GIZI BAYI USIA 6-12 BULAN
Abstrak
Menyusui sejak dini mempunyai dampak yang positif baik bagi ibu maupun bayinya. ASI yang diberikan oleh ibu dapat menunjang pertumbuhan, kesehatan dan kelangsungan hidup bayi karena ASI kaya dengan zat gizi dan antibodi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian ASI Esklusif dengan status gizi bayi usia 6-12 bulan di Desa Kalaena Kabupaten Luwu Timur Tahun 2018.
Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 58 bayi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara totaling sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat. Analisis bivariat untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian ASI Esklusif dengan status gizi bayi usia 6-12 bulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa pemberian ASI Eksklusif memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap status gizi bayi dengna nilai p=0,023 < 0,05
Kesimpulan dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ASI Eksklusif memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap status gizi bayi usia 6-12 bulan,
